Delete your account and data

You can delete your Hearless account from inside the app at any time. Here’s exactly how, and what it does and doesn’t remove.

Delete from the app

  1. Open Hearless.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and your minute balance, and signs you out. It can’t be undone.

Transcripts saved on your phone

Your transcript history is stored on your phone only — it’s never synced to our servers. Remove it by clearing items in the app’s Library, or by uninstalling the app.

Ask us to delete your data

To request deletion of any data we hold — including voice-typing text — email [email protected] from the address tied to your account, with the subject “Data deletion”. We’ll confirm once it’s done.

What we don’t store

Voice notes you transcribe are processed by OpenAI via our servers to turn them into text; we don’t store the audio or the transcripts. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

Read voice notes as text

Install Hearless and read what they said.
