Features
Everything Hearless does
Read voice notes as text, in 60 languages — plus voice typing in any app. Here’s the full picture, with nothing invented.
Read voice notes as text
- Read WhatsApp voice notes without playing them — share a note to Hearless and the text appears in seconds.
- Works with WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business, including group chats.
- Transcribe audio files from your phone too: MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG/Opus, AAC, FLAC, AMR, WMA, 3GP, WebM and MP4.
- No length limit — long recordings are handled automatically.
60 languages, your script
- 60 languages plus Auto Detect, with a smart default from your phone’s region.
- Mixed-language notes work — for example Urdu and English in the same message.
- Read Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Bengali or Nepali in Roman (Latin) letters, and switch back to the original script any time.
Voice typing in any app
- Tap the Hearless mic beside any text field, talk, and your words are typed in — with filler words removed.
- Works in any app, not just chat.
Your transcripts, organised
- Copy or share any transcript in one tap.
- A searchable library of past transcripts, each deletable individually or all at once.
- Dark mode.
Honest limitations
- Internet is required — there is no offline mode.
- A free Google sign-in is required.
- One voice note per share (sharing several at once transcribes one).
- Transcript history stays on your phone — it is not backed up and does not move to a new phone.
- Voice typing records up to 5 minutes at a time, is hidden on password fields, and needs the Accessibility toggle turned on.
How your audio is handled
Voice notes are processed by OpenAI via our servers to turn them into text; we don’t store them. See the privacy page for the full detail, including how voice typing is handled.
