Use case

Voice typing in any app

Talk instead of typing long messages. Tap the Hearless mic, speak, and your words are typed into whatever app you’re in.

Speak, and it types for you

Typing a long message is slow. With Hearless voice typing, you tap the mic beside the text field, say what you mean, and it’s typed in for you — cleaned up, with the “ums” and false starts taken out.

How to set it up

  1. Turn on Hearless Voice Typing once, in your phone’s Accessibility settings.
  2. Tap any text field — the Hearless mic appears beside it.
  3. Tap the mic and talk.
  4. Tap the check mark, and your words are typed in.

  • Works in any app with a text field, not just chat.
  • Recordings are up to five minutes at a time.
  • The mic never appears on password fields.
  • Type Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Bengali or Nepali in Roman letters.

Questions about voice typing

What is voice typing in Hearless?

A mic that appears beside any text field. Tap it, talk, and your words are typed into that field — with filler words removed.

Which apps does it work in?

Any app with a text field, not just chat. Write a message, a note, a search — by speaking.

How do I turn it on?

Turn on Hearless Voice Typing once in your phone’s Accessibility settings. After that, the mic appears whenever you tap a text field.

Does it remove “um” and filler words?

Yes. Hearless cleans up fillers, stutters and false starts, and fixes punctuation, so what’s typed reads cleanly.

Is there a recording limit?

Each voice-typing recording is up to five minutes. The mic never appears on password fields.

Can it type Urdu or Hindi in Roman letters?

Yes — Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Bengali and Nepali can be typed in Roman (Latin) script.

How is my voice handled?

Audio is recorded only after you tap the mic, then processed by OpenAI via our servers to turn it into text.
